 Therapeutic horseback riding, as provided through T.R.A.C.C., is a blend of recreational riding and therapy--a form of physical therapy to provide direct treatment. Individuals with a wide range of special needs (physical, cognitive and/or emotional) find many benefits from therapeutic horseback riding, including:
- increased physical strength and endurance
- balance
- symmetry
- improved self-esteem
- the horse and rider link
And, of course, the opportunity to socialize are some of the benefits of our program. We are a non-profit organization supported by the families of our riders and generous donations of people like you.

Fall weather is right around the corner. Order your TRACC sweatshirt with the new logo to keep the chill off and support TRACC! Watch TRACC march through Carlisle, Pennsylvania, at the Summer Fair Parade, Friday, July 2, at 7:00 pm. In addition to riders in the horse drawn carriage, TRACC owned Pony Boy will be walk among TRACC's volunteers. You will NOT get your forms in the mail - they are all online! Please download them using the link below, fill them out right away (Remember, we use the first come, first served method) and mail them to:

Make sure you complete ALL the forms. Your rider cannot begin without them in our hands. Bring the signed physician form with you if you do not get it completed with the rest of the forms...

7 TRACC riders and 17 volunteers proudly made a presence in this year's parade sporting t-shirts with the new TRACC logo. Riders enthusiastically waved to Carlisle residents lined up on North and Hanover Streets as they rode in a decorated wagon pulled by a handsome draft horse team. The all-decked-out in purple Pony Boy and volunteers included a wheel barrow and scooper following Pony Boy as they marched through Carlisle! The horse pulled wagon made a grandstand performance with a 360 degree turn at the Square of Carlisle as the judges announced TRACC and received applause from the crowd gathered there!
