TRACC's volunteers are the heart and backbone of the program. They are local people who choose to give their personal time to make the riders experience special.
The volunteers include teachers, homemakers, high school students, equestrians, laborers, nurse, parents, retirees and more. Each volunteer has received training to ensure the safety of the rider. No previous equestrian experience is required.
In many cases the volunteers side-walk with the same rider throughout the session. The experience is often enjoyable for both the rider and volunteer and is why so many volunteers come back each season to help.
TRACC welcomes new volunteers and your support if you are interested in making a difference in the life of TRACC's riders. Please contact us if you'd like to help or to become a Friend of TRACC.
