The carabiners arrived and Friends of TRACC extends a big thank you to all the sellers.  Wendy Haas was top seller with Mike Gillespie as the next big seller! Everyone's contribution to help promote TRACC through the carabiner sales is sincerely appreciated.

Another thank you is extended to carabiner buyers who also donated extra money to TRACC.  Your extra support is very much appreciated.

Advance orders can be picked up on 1st regular TRACC session day following the July 4 holiday:  Monday the 6th, Tuesday the 7th or Wednesday the 8th.  Original sales papers listing the names of buyers will be included with the carabiners.

TRACC_Horse_Head_Carabiner-smallFriends of T.R.A.C.C. is requesting volunteers to help sell the new horse head carabiners that are ordered and will arrive July 1.  Please see the volunteer coordinator at this weeks session for additional details and order forms.  The carabiners will be available in bright colors of red, blue and green.  Advance orders are being accepted for $4.00 each.  Please show your support and order one today.

Friends of TRACC will appear at the West Pennsboro Township Fire Station in Plainfield, PA on June 6th from 12-4pm for Community Day.  Please stop by and see us!
 
Friends of TRACC has a leader! PDF Print E-mail
Trish Bankes and DakotaTRACC is pleased to announce that Trish Bankes is president of the new Friends of TRACC.

Trish Bankes, a specialty sales manager of Stackpole Books, calls Doubling Gap her home. Three of their four children have flown the nest with the fourth slated to finish high school next year. Trish is often found at work on the endless “it’ll only take a weekend” and “round-to-it projects” with her husband. In between work and home she and her husband escape to and explore trout streams with a fly rod. Trish finds peace at the barn with her 15 year old half-Mustang pinto, Dakota.

Horses and ponies have always been a part of Trish’s life and as a volunteer she shares her passion for them with the children who participate in TRACC’s program. Trish looks forward to the challenge of her new role as Friends of TRACC president. She anticipates Friends of TRACC will create more public awareness, and enable TRACC to gain additional community support and resources so more children will enjoy and participate in TRACC’s therapeutic riding program in the future.
