Friends of T.R.A.C.C. Signs up Volunteers Takes Orders at Community Day |
|

Friends of TRACC joined other community organizations at the recent West Pennsboro Community Day event on Saturday, June 6. The event was well attended by folks in the Plainfield and surrounding areas. A big thank you to volunteers Deb Meek and Maxine Sites who answered questions, signed up new volunteers and took advance orders for horse-head carabiners.

2009 Schedule and Rider Application |

To Riders and Families
There’s lots that’s new in 2009 – New Place, New Faces, New Ideas!
- First, you will NOT get your forms in the mail – they are all online! Please download them, fill them
out right away (Remember, we use the first come, first served method) and mail them to: Pat Grier, c/o Alexander Spring Rehab, 1 Tyler Court, Suite 200, Carlisle, PA 17015. Make sure you complete ALL the forms. Your rider cannot begin without them in our hands.
- Second, we will be on private property this year, home of volunteers Judy and Dave Twining, at Canterwood, 684 Barnstable Road, Carlisle, PA, just around the corner from
Rocking Horse Ridge (Click here to see map.)
- Third, we will have only 2 lessons per night, but they will be on 3 nights, Monday, Tuesday and
Wednesday (except for two Monday holidays).
- Fourth, we will only be riding in an outdoor ring. We plan on having “dismounted lessons” in the
stable when it rains. This will include grooming, games and learning about horses. This will help riders get more comfortable with their horses and develop new skills.
