Therapeutic horseback riding, as provided through T.R.A.C.C., is a blend of recreational riding and therapy--a form of physical therapy to provide direct treatment.
Individuals with a wide range of special needs (physical, cognitive and/or emotional) find many benefits from therapeutic horseback riding, including:
- increased physical strength and endurance
- balance
- symmetry
- improved self-esteem
- the horse and rider link
And, of course, the opportunity to socialize are some of the benefits of our program.
We are a non-profit organization supported by the families of our riders and generous donations of people like you.
